A 27 year veteran of Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development work, Casey learned at an early age how difficult it was to be a high performing female in a male dominated industry. Always a pioneer, Casey was the first female CEO to run her Chamber in PA, and in Florida and only the second female in her CEO role in North Carolina. At a national level, Casey served as Chairman of the Board of the international Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives in 2009 and later was awarded the rare Lifetime Achievement Award from that organization. Casey is still the only US Chamber executive to receive an award from the World Chamber Congress for innovative economic development.
